Finger Lakes Music...a gift for your ears...
From mainstream to down home, classical to rap, experiencing the sounds of the Finger Lakes will be music to your ears. National concert tours make appearances at such places as the newly-renovated and expanded Constellation Brands Marvin A. Sands Performing Arts Center, or CMAC (formerly known as Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center) in Canandaigua, Blue Cross Arena and Eastman Theatre in Rochester, and the Carrier Dome on the Syracuse University campus, while small clubs and venues offer the thrill of discovering up-and-coming artists and those established musicians who prefer the intimacy of a cozier audience.

The Rochester International Jazz Festival is an annual event held at several venues throughout the Rochester area and features artists such as James Brown, Etta James and  Woody Alan & His New Orleans Jazz Band just to name a few. Classical music performances are held throughout the year by the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Syracuse Symphony, the Cayuga Chamber Orchestra in Ithaca and others.

In the Finger Lakes region, we don’t limit our musical experiences to the indoors – music can be enjoyed under the stars, near waterfalls, even on a barge in the Erie Canal! There’s something for every musical taste – adding a concert to your visit will truly enhance your Finger Lakes experience!

Please check out our calendar of events for more information on a wide variety of musical events.
