Elm Croft Manor Welcomes Brenda DuFresne
Penn Yan, NY (May 5, 2008) – Please join me in welcoming Brenda DuFresne to Elm Croft Manor. Ms. DuFresne is the new Resident Innkeeper for the 2008 Season. Brenda is the author of “Northern Cooking” a beautifully designed and cleverly crafted cookbook featuring both original and regional recipes from in and around the state of Michigan. She is an engineer (Bachelor of Science, Metallurgy, Engineering, Michigan Technological University) and has worked for 18 years as a corporate senior materials reliability engineer, most recently with DuPont.
Brenda is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City with certificates in bread baking and fine pastries. She is certified in food safety and professional Innkeeping. As we begin the launch of our second season at Elm Croft Manor, I am delighted to welcome Brenda. Our guests will savor her outstanding gourmet breakfast preparations and enjoy her warm personality. Brenda’s passion for the hospitality sector, coupled with her love of the countryside, are an ideal combination as we strive to provide our guests with exceptional services during their visit to the beautiful Finger Lakes region.
