Victorian Afternoon Tea To Be Held on Rose Hill Mansion Patio

 

 

Geneva, N.Y. The Geneva Historical Society will be hosting a Victorian style tea on the rear patio of the elegant 1839 Greek Revival Mansion on Sunday, June 29, 2008. Catch summer breezes while enjoying delicacies and tea in the 19th-century ambiance of the historic house. Catered by Fiddlehead Concepts Catering Service of Canandaigua, the event will have two seatings, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tickets include a tour of the mansion and a special display of antique and contemporary tea sets on loan from community members and from the Society’s collection.

Tickets for the tea are available at the Geneva Historical Society office and are $17 for adults and $13 for children 17 and under. For more information about this event, call the Geneva Historical Society office at 315-789-5151.

The Geneva Historical Society is located in the Prouty-Chew House at 543 South Main Street and is open Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
